Help Stop A Cold In Its Tracks

The cure for the common cold is an on-going search for pharmaceutical, Ayurvedic, and many other forms of medicine around the world - yet no one has the cure yet!

Each of these practices has things that can help. Pharmaceutical companies have created pills and nasal sprays, Ayurvedic medicine aims to prevent a cold from ever occurring, but I discovered one of my favorite home health aids while driving across the country a few years ago.

We regularly travel as a family and I could feel the wear of the road on my body. I wasn't getting enough sleep, I wasn't being active enough, I wasn't eating great and setting myself up to get a cold.

And then I felt it coming on.

You know the feeling, the tingle in your nose, the little sore throat, being a little bit more tired than normal. I knew I needed to do something.

Essential Oil Cold Buster

While I was traveling, I didn't have all my essential oils with me, but I never travel without my doTERRA OnGuard beadlets. I whipped one out, squished it between my fingers and applied some right on my nose.

I made sure to follow up my OnGuard with lots of water and tried to get a lot of sleep that night. The next day, tingle in my nose was gone! This has been my go-to move since.

What Is In OnGuard?

Let me tell you, this OnGuard beadlet under my nose was potent! On Guard is a blend from doTERRA consisting of wild orange peel, clove bud, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus leaf, and rosemary leaf/flower essential oils. They pack a punch!

On Guard provides a natural and effective alternative for immune support when used internally (like the onGuard beadlets normally are) and protects against environmental and seasonal threats with essential oils known for their positive effects on the immune system when ingested - so it's no wonder it helped me!

If you really want to support yourself day to day, you can take an OnGuard beadlet daily, no squishing required!
