Renew Life With Lemon Essential Oil

Lemon purifies things seen and unseen, inside and outside, in all places, and sometimes you travel halfway around the world to be reminded of that.

I had the amazing opportunity to visit Morocco this past year. I felt renewed and nourished. I got great sleep and an incredible vibe from 12 amazing women. All in all, I had the opportunity to clear my mind and start anew.

One day, in the market, I came across these incredible, preserved lemons. I tasted them in a cooking class earlier that day and, oh my goodness, they were so delicious! It reminded me of the incredible cleansing properties of lemon, both physically and emotionally.

Lemon purifies things seen and unseen, inside and outside, in all places. Doesn't matter if it's old or new, working or broken - lemon makes it all clean, renewed, and brought back into a new life.

You can use lemon for this purpose multiple ways in your life. Lemon loves to serve, and I love to be served. It is my love language for sure!

Let lemon serve you a few different ways today:

Aromatically

Inhale and/or diffuse 10 drops of lemon essential oil in your favorite diffuser.

Topically

Dilute 3 drops of lemon essential oil with a carrier oil like fractionated coconut oil, jojoba or sweet almond and rub over joints and anywhere you feel needs a cleansing. (This can provide great support for gout!)

Be careful using it on your skin and going out into the sun, citrus oils are extremely photosensitive!

Internally

Add to your food for flavoring or put 2-4 drops into a glass of water.

Lastly, along with your lemon essential oil, I leave you with an affirmation for your day. May it serve you well. "I am renewed."
